Thanksgiving 2008
Thanksgiving Volunteer Registration is now available.
Choose from our list of Thanksgiving Week opportunities. Due to high demand, each volunteer (or group) may register for only one Thanksgiving Week event.
If you are confirmed to volunteer:
1) Come to The Bowery Mission (Directions) at the assigned time in comfortable clothes. Expect that you will be on your feet during your volunteer service. Given the structure of the building and the fast-paced nature of Thanksgiving Week, it is difficult for us to accommodate those with physical limitations.
2) Sign in at the front desk (or in the registration tent in front of The Mission on Thanksgiving Day). If you are participating with Blessing Bags, you will be able to drop them off at the front desk.
3) After you sign in, you will be directed to your volunteer assignment. There will be a coat check available for those volunteering Thanksgiving Day.
Please read our Volunteer Guidelines
