How We Measure Success

At The Bowery Mission & Kids With A Promise, our bottom line is a transformed life.  The end goal of our purpose statement is to see men's, women's and children's "lives tranformed to hope, joy, lasting productivity and eternal life through the power of Jesus Christ."  (Read our full purpose and goal statements here.)

We define a “transformed life” as someone who exhibits these five criteria for graduation, which we believe to be predictors of future success:

1. Have connected with their Creator.
2. Are connected to family.
3. Are committed to being clean and sober.
4. Have found a job and a place to live.
5. Have a plan for the future.
