Donate Goods
The Bowery Mission accepts various types of donations. All donations may be dropped off at The Bowery Mission. Donations accepted 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm. Please call 1-800-BOWERY-1 for further assistance. Click here for directions.
Our current list of needs for The Bowery Mission includes:
- Men's Clothing (large sizes): Underwear/Undershirts, Shirts, Jackets, Pants, Suits, Shoes
- Personal Products (travel sizes preferred): Soap, Shaving Cream, Toothpaste, Toothbrushes, Deodorant, Shampoo
- Linens: Bath towels, Face cloths, Twin-size Flat Sheets, Twin-Size Blankets (washable), Standard-Size Pillows (non-allergenic), Standard-Size Pillowcases, Sleeping Bags
- Food Products: Non-perishable bulk staple items preferred
Our current list of needs for The Bowery Mission Women’s Center includes:
- Women’s Clothing: Boots, Warm Socks, Gloves, Hats, Scarves, Coats, Rain Coats, Undergarments
- Exercise Equipment: Exercise Bike, Set of 2 -15 lb hand weights
- Household Goods & Services: Power cleaning the front stone work, Garden Furniture Set (6 stacking chairs, side table, bench), Hand Gardening Tools
- Entertainment Items: Gospel, Praise and Classical CD's and Videos, College Dictionary and Thesaurus Set, PG/PG13 movies (VHS or DVD), Christian Novel Sets by authors such as Janette Oke and Jan Karon, Stereo Players with CD Player and Tape Deck.
If the value of a donated item exceeds $500, the donor may be required to file Form 8283 with IRS and obtain an appraisal if value exceeds $5,000.
